These services involve consulting and advising clients in the choice, use, protection and prosecution of proceedings for the accurate protection of the intellectual property rights involved, as well as portfolio management and commercialization of intellectual property assets through licensing, franchising and transfer of rights. This practice also includes handling proceedings before the National Copyright Institute (INDAUTOR).
Besides working in different important law firms in Mexico, her experience includes almost four years as part of the Trademark Divisional Direction of the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI).
Aida is an experienced attorney and skilled negotiator in representing small entrepreneurs to large national and international companies in proceedings before the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI), with a strong emphasis on trademark matters.
She holds a law degree from the Universidad de las Américas A.C. and a specialization in Intellectual Property from the Ilustre y Nacional Colegio de Abogados de México. Member of the Mexican Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AMPPI) and the International Trademark Association (INTA).
